Ubuntu 11.04 + Thinkpad T61, Touchpad unresponsive

The Touchpad became unresponsive .. not an hardware issue as it worked in windows..

To set it right,

gconftool-2 --set --type boolean /desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/touchpad_enabled true
